Economic

We believe training local leaders to develop their own community will lead to more sustainable economic solutions and using a model of participatory initiatives allows all in the community to grow in their transformation out of a poverty situation. Our goal is to educate people on better business management, marketing, co-operatives, new agriculture techniques, water harvesting and establishing micro-financing in communities. We believe these are crucial to growing beyond a poverty situation. We host annual training events for local leaders and then help them lead the community development in their own communities. We work with the leaders to bring local officials into the community who will educate the whole community on important economic topics. We work with small business owners and small groups to establish themselves and better understand how to make the most of economics in their areas. We offer a small micro-finance program to help rural business owners change their current situation.
